  • The Legal and Contractual Guide for Tech Ventures

Tech ventures do not always fail on the code; sometimes the problem starts at the signature. An unclear scope, undefined delivery dates, unpaid additions, a dispute over who owns the code, or a technical partner walking out mid-project — the small details turn into a conflict that costs you time, money, and sometimes the whole venture. A webinar from ASaaSI Middle East with SANNAD for Business Solutions: the legal and contractual guide for developers and founders. Delivered in Arabic.

  • The AARRR Pirate Funnel

    19 May 2026

Most SaaS founders in the region are obsessed with getting more customers. Leads come in, and revenue still does not grow — because they are filling a bucket with holes in it. The AARRR funnel maps the full customer lifecycle across Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Revenue and Referral, each with its own owner, metric and failure mode. It is a sequence, not a checklist: you cannot fix Referral before Retention is healthy. This session breaks down each stage in the MENA context, and why Activation kills more MENA SaaS companies than poor sales.

  • How to Calculate COGS Correctly in Your SaaS Company and Build a Sound Income Statement

    12 May 2026

A session on the thing many MENA SaaS founders avoid: classifying costs correctly. Most founders put numbers into the financial sheet without knowing what belongs in Cost of Goods Sold and what is an operating expense — so the gross margin does not reflect reality, pricing is built on the wrong base, and an investor sees a problem you cannot. We walk through every COGS line in a SaaS company, from cloud infrastructure to payment-processing fees, who owns each inside the company, and the most common mistake in each. Then a hands-on walkthrough of a complete Excel income-statement model for a 2026 SaaS company, with an assumptions sheet you can plug your own numbers into.
