What happens to your details.

This applies to every form on mohamedelsherif.com — the enquiry forms, the newsletter — and to registration for ASaaSI Middle East webinars, workshops and events, whether you register here or through the link in an invitation.

It is written for attendees and for anyone who fills in a form here, and it is the whole policy. There is no longer document behind it.

Only what you type. Depending on the form, that is:

• Your name and email address.
• Your company, your stage or revenue band, and your timeline, where the form asks.
• What you wrote in the message or registration field — the constraint you are working on, the topic you want covered, what you are trying to learn.
• For an event: that you registered, and whether you attended.

There is no cookie banner because there are no tracking cookies. Page views are counted by Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and records no personal data — it tells me a page was read, not who read it.

The calculators under Tools are the clearest case: they run entirely inside your browser. The revenue, burn and payroll numbers you type into them are never sent anywhere, never saved, and never seen by me.

Four things, and nothing else:

• To reply to you. Enquiries come to my own inbox and I answer them myself.
• To run the session you registered for — the joining link, the materials, the follow-up.
• To send the newsletter, if that is what you signed up for.
• To plan what comes next: which topics get taught, what goes into the learning maps, and which events are worth running at all.

That fourth one is the reason the registration forms ask more than a name. A room of founders who all said they are stuck on pricing gets a session about pricing.

The people delivering the thing you signed up for, and nobody past them. Where a session is run with a co-trainer, a co-host, or a partner academy or institution, whoever is teaching and organising it sees what you wrote about where you are stuck — because that is what lets them build the session around the room actually in front of them rather than a generic one. They see it for that purpose and keep it to that purpose.

That is the whole list. Your details are not sold, rented, swapped, or handed to sponsors, advertisers or anyone else as a lead list — not as a list, and not as a single name. Nobody receives them in order to sell you something.

Anything useful that comes out of your answers comes back to you: in the reply, in the session, in the materials. That is the only direction it travels.

The one unavoidable exception is the plumbing, and it is worth naming honestly. A form has to reach me somehow: the form provider that delivers it, the email service that sends the newsletter, and the platform hosting a webinar all handle your details in order to do that one job. They act on my instruction, they are not free to use your details for their own purposes, and where an event is hosted on someone else’s platform, that platform’s own terms apply to the registration you complete there.

Enquiries stay in my inbox as long as the conversation is live and for a reasonable period after, the way any working correspondence does. Event registrations stay while the programme they belong to is running and for as long as they are still telling me something useful about what to build next. Newsletter subscriptions stay until you unsubscribe.

Ask me to delete yours and I will, without asking why.

Email me and I will tell you exactly what I hold about you, correct anything wrong, or delete it. Every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe, and using it is not the same as being deleted from everything else — say so if that is what you want.

No account is needed for any of this, because there are no accounts. It is one person and an inbox.
